5 Nov 2009:  According to research into US hedge funds holding a total of $130bn (€87.54bn) by analysts Tabb Group, investors will put $790bn into US hedge funds, using bespoke accounts, by 2011.

Currently, the majority of the $1.5 trillion in funds is invested via managers' pooled funds.
