22 Oct 2009:  New Castle founder Mark Kurland and a consultant to the fund, Danielle Chiesi, were charged with insider trading last week with Raj Rajaratnam, founder of the hedge fund Galleon. All three have through their lawyers denied any wrongdoing. According to New Castle, Mr Kurland has taken a “leave of absence from the firm”.
